Some months ago I virtually met (on Conversation Exchange) a Danish guy who had fallen in love with Turin and with Juventus Club and had decided to leave Denmark in order to move to Turin. I don’t know if, meanwhile, he had found the flat he was seeking, and in general if he succeeded in his aim, if he found the apartment of his dreams, or if he came back to Denmark – living in Italy is hard, just the Italians get by in it, and not always. But – I thought, it was a curious case. Probably Juventus is worth it.
Some days ago I went to Bruxelles due to one of my business trips, and at the gate in Turin Caselle airport I was alone. I was wondering if that was the right gate-time-day-airport, when another passenger (in total we were 5 people on that airplane), came to me and started to chat. He spoke a fluent Italian (but also a fluent English, French, German and Sweden), he had come from Norway, he was going back after a week in Turin. The reason why he had spent the last week in Turin was linked to football: he was a TORO fan, he was at the stadium during last derby.
Well, life is incredible, Juventus collects its fans from Denmark, Torino Calcio directly from Norway. Wonderful. Conclusion: Juve - Toro 1-1, apart from the derby result. J
